Not quite sure what you are trying to get rid of?

If you are worried about spyware, try downloading Adaware from http://www.lavasoft.com or "Spybot Search and Destroy". They should shift any nasties.

will try and make it a bit clearer. When I switch on pc I have this page on my screen with funny pictures .I know it comes from a site called www.funnies.com.My usual screen picture has gone .So what I want to know is how can I get rid of www.funnies.com . I have tried going back a day on systems restore but it is still the same. Thanks
It sounds like this site has affected your "Active Desktop". Unfortunately, I don't know enough about active desktop to advise but I'm sure someone will come along and be more help.
I do not think funnies.com will cause you any severe problems. Just replace your desktop picture with oe of your choice - perhaps the one yu had before.

Click START>CONTROL PANEL>DISPLAY>DESKTOP and then select the one you want. Just completely ignore funnies. com. Good luck and have fun

sorry told you wrong the site is called www flashfunpage.com
Whatever site it is, it sounds as if the image has been saved as a desktop background. You just need to replace it as sir.prize described.
