aol homepage

iv set aol as my homepage, but for two days now it has come up with a login error, and says it is temporarily out of reach. im not very technical, but is this a fault with aol, or am i doing something wrong!? I cant access my emails though, so its bugging me a little bit!

Is AOL your Internet Service Provider?
What browser are you using? Do you still get the error with AOL's own browser?

I'm with AOL and haven't had any problems this week.

One possibility is that your computer is trying to log you in with stored username and password and maybe you mis-typed it when you asked your computer to remember it.

Sorry can't think of anything else at the moment.

I just tried the link weeal sent, and that wouldnt work either, same screen name error. I dont need a password to use the aol homepage. I havnt downloaded aol, because iv been told aol takes up somuch room on computer, and iv just had it cleaned cos it was so full up..

maybe you could try clearing out your Temporary Internet Files and trying it again?

Go to Tools, Internet Options, Delete, Temporary Internet Files

Then try the AOL home page again, cant think why its not working, as you say you dont need a log in for the home page
