iwant to buy my husband a lcd tv for a surprise i think a 32 " will be big enough as we only have a small lounge any suggestions of really good ones as there are so many

but your best bet is spend some time in currys, comet .... and the others.... and actually look at them (lg get excellent writeups also)

go ensewhere ... and come back and look again.
go home ... go to bed .... come back in the morning .... and look again ....
then find prices on the internet for the make/model you fancy .... and go back ... tell them how much you've seen it for ... and they'll match (or beat) any real price

Strongly recommend the NEW Samsung Series 4 32 inch (our son bought one and it has every connection you might want - inc. 3 HDMI). Superb with Sony PS3 as well.
