American Camcorder Question

My brother bought a Camvorder in the US (a Samsung SCL610) and was assured that it was UK (PAL) Compatible.
To date he has been unable to find a British VCR to which he can download the video he's made.
My understanding is that it's something to do with PAL 60 in the US and PAL 50 over here...
Any suggestions how he can get the Camcorder connected?

Looking under "Video Services" in the Yellow Pages, you should find people who can convert from US to UK format. Maybe they could help you with getting equipment to do it yourself.
