recording didital tv

I have purchased a Samsung DTV and all seems to be fine but although I can record analogue chanels, when I switch the TV to Dig TV cannot record, says no signal. However I can still record from my old Freeview Box ok. Any help will be appreciated

Hi,
Does the tv have two tuners and if so do you need to loop the signal using a cable from one to the other. You may have to look ariound the back to see if it has one or two of the usual aerial connectors

Many tvs and dvd recorders now have twin tuners (one analogue, one digital) but need a loop through one to the other.
