I got water in my Logitech MX Cordless Keyboard.. ooops. When i got round to taking the keyboard apart, i finally got down to 2 clear plastic sheets, with dull grey lines on (the circuit, prsumably). An area of the circuit was wet, and where the moisture was the grey line had turned black (corrosion?) In the process of trying to clean this area, I have broken some of the lines. So then the Questiion is, What is the best way to re-connect these lines? Can i get conductive paint? or strips of metal I cvan cut to sice? aany help appreciated - FB

I'm afraid to say, I would just buy a new keyboard. It will undoubtably be cheaper, and less hassle, than trying to repair it.
if you have home contents insurance, you can probably claim.
I have found through experience the best way to dry out a keyboard in the first place is to put it in an airing cupboard or next to the central heating boiler rather than taking it apart and using a hair drier.
You can get conductive paint, though it's very expensive and I don't know if it would adhere to plastic well.
just buy a new keyboard. first of all if you did an insurance claim, the deductable would be much higher than the cost of a new board. also the funny thing about corrosion is it will always come back over and over again so its not worth bothering with fixing it

Hi all, Thanks alot for all your replies. Looks like ill have to buy a new one (doh!) I may just try one last thing, my friend reakons he has some gold paint (the real stuff) so i may do paint some expensive artistic lines on the circuit. I'll let you know if it works or not. Gotta be cheaper than paying around 60 for a new one. Cheers FB
If you go down the `repair road' try a repair kit for a heated rear window from any auto-spares shop.
