From tape to ipod

What would I need to do to put something on my audio tape on to my ipod please?

Im not familiar with the iPod, but if it has an 'line-in' or 'mic-in' then you could use a simple 3.5mm cable to 2 phono and if the iPod is able to record directly then that would work. If notm then you'd need to plug the tape recorder into your PC (via a simple 3.5mm jack cable) and record the tape onto your Hard Drive, then convert it to mp3 (the iPod can read mp3 format), and transfer it in the usual way to your iPod. <i>[Email address removed as per site policy. - AB Editor]</i>.
