dimplex fire

I have just bought a dimplex cheriton fire from Argos. It looks good but when I switched the heating on it was quite loud. The instruction manual said there would be a noise but after it had been on about 10 mins it got really loud I think it must be faulty .Has anyone had any experience of these fires

return it to argos there should be only a light whooshing or blowing noise from the fan really and should be unobtrusive
