Just recently whilst playing games on my laptop i found that the games goes much slower when the fan comes on. I dont think its because of overheating because when it comes on its only slightly warm. Do you think it would help buying a laptop cooling pad or is it just a problem with my laptop? Can it be fixed?

Do you use your laptop on a solid surface?

It needs to draw air in, and if you use it on your lap or a cushion or other soft surface you are blocking the air vents to the fan.

Do you clean your fan? You should do this every six months or so
