Yes, with a scanner.

Flat bed scanners are very cheap now, or you could buy a combined printer/scanner/photocopier quite cheaply too.

Before you do that, are you sure you can't access your payslips online?
The simplest way would be to stick physically stick them inside the PC, but then you can't copy them to a CD.

Sorry, I am a bit bored. If you don't need a separate reference to each slip you can speed things up by putting 4, or however many fit on your scanner bed slips at once, and so get the job done four times faster. Save the pages as a gif or jpg and you can still save each document with a date-name so they show up in chronological order in a folder.
Oh Ethel, I thought you'd gone to bed.
Just because I'm in my pjs and dg doesn't mean I'm going to bed

:)
In the 8 years you've been collecting them - how many queries have you had?

looking at my wageslip - they say 3 years

You have all made valid points that makes me wish that I hadnt asked the question now!!! Thanks any way!!
awwww c'mon ... happy thoughts

ethel's first answer is the way to do it (if you must)
scan and then a dilemma - I think most scanners come with OCR (optical character recognition)

so you can either just store the "photos" ... or turn them into real words and numbers (which will take longer )

and that's just made me think of option three - you could actually photograph them ..... camera - phone - decent lighting will give fair results.

Now then .... ethel in PJs
(and as a real lady - presumably slippers)

so the question is - what sort of slips?

dame edna "posh" furry ones
sensible M&S ones
or quirky monster feet, cat, dog, panda type?
i'm think ethel's a fella really
