asdl filter

Im getting chronic noise on the new BT house phones - im also running a Orange livebox for internet access....just where do i put the ASDL filter...??
I can either get: (1) a clear phone line, but no internet access ( ASDL FILTER INSTALLED )

or (2) scratchy phone, but internet access (ASDL FILTER NOT INSTALLED )
???????????
Ive tried every permutation of cabling - and fitting the ASDL filter in the main incoming BT socket box and the spur to upstairs....) ????

One goes into every phone socket that has anything at all plugged into it.

unless you have an extension lead that goes to your orange box... in that case that lead needs to plug straight into the master socket but you need a filter on the other end of it.
