Web site creation problem

I have a web site created in Dreamweaver (not by me) and I am trying to create a new page. When displayed on my PC (s) the images all display with no picture and red cross - however I have ensured all the links are there and the actual pictures (images) are loaded on the server. However, when viewed using my Mac all the pictures display. We do have the Microsoft new security software loaded on our machines - could that be the problem?
