spyware popup

Whe i turn my laptop on the first thing that happens is that a popup saying that spyware has been detected on my computer and i should press the windows protection button that is below, when i do this a gray screen appears and nothing happens for ages then it goes off after a while, but comes back.
I have spyware doctor installed and Macaffy anti virus. Pleae tell me what you think is wrong.

Does the icon you are supposed to press look like a red shield with a cross on it?

if the problem is still there, download, install and run, in this order, Lavasoft Adaware (available here), Spybot Search and Destroy (available here) and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (available through this site).

Before running a scan with each of them, make sure you get the latest updates, then reboot your 'puter after each scan to see if the problem has been dealt with.
