Computer noises

I have an Advent PC, its about 1 year old now. Its an AMD Athlon 2100+ XP. <br>When i play 3D games, after while my comuter starts making a high pitched electronic 'whistling' noise. <br> I have tested all my fans and it is none of them, i have had a new Graphics card and it still does it every so often. Icannot think what it can be, but it is very annoying.<br>I hope someone can help me.

Is it the computer or the monitor? If the latter, try adjusting the refresh rate down a tad.

Its the computer itself, not the monitor.
