Will certain memory card readers only "handle" cards up to a certain (memory) size? The reason I ask is my reader works with all my cards up to 2GB, but the 8GB that came with my phone I cannot access. They are all SD cards.

I have the same prob with my SD card for my camera,

Although I cant answer your question reliably.
I believe any card over 2Gb is an HC card (or High Capacity) which is not caompatible with the standard readers, pretty well all new card readers should be HC ready.
If the reader is built in to a laptop, it is often possible to download an upgrade from the manufacturer which will allow HC cards to be read.
