hi, how can i connect a tv to the socket which is located downstairs? i dont have a tv downstairs and there are two sockets in the house. both of them downstairs.
what should i do/

please help

You can get an audio/video sender kit from Maplin, plug the sender in to a coax cable connected to downstairs wall, then connect the receiver in to the scart on your TV up stairs, and hey presto you got TV !!!!!!
I don't think so. That would require you also having a TV downstairs - so that you had something to connect the sender to!
Where is your aerial located?

if it's in the loft then the easiest option would be disconnect the cable from it that goes downstairs and connect a new cable then run that through the ceiling of the room you want the TV in
rojash, if it`s possible to plug the sender into the coax downstairs, would it not pick up the programmes from that and send them upstairs.
I`m not saying it would, but I`d be interested to know if it`s possible.

No it wouldn't.... it's a video sender designed to send a video signal from a scart socket, it's not a tv tuner so it not capable of receiving the TV signal its self
