Download a dvd authoring package.

first of all you will need a DVD rewritable drive,and also some DVD burning software.If the drive was installed when you purchased your pc,you usually get the software pre installed.My came with Nero Burning software.Once you have downloaded you movie,usually an AVI or MPG file you just open you burning program and select burn to DVD.Most programs let you drag and drop the files you want to burn.If you file is an AVI file,you may have to convert to MPG first.Nero does this automatically,but some other software packages do not convert AVI files.

beware tho as this will probably not work on your dvd player ! if the movie is small enough(500mb approx) and your dvd player recognises vcd i reccomend going that route but if you definitely want to go dvd then the proggy i use is dvd santa.i believe its free and it will convert your dl'ed movie into playable dvd format and then burn it to disk
