How do I get round the problem of e-mails [usually from porn or drug stores] addressed to someone else entirely arriving in my Incredimail in-box?

I`m forever bouncing and deleting them but it just goes on and on.........any advice much appreciated.

I've tried using rules under outlook express to delete these items at the server level so they don't dowload. The problem is that you have to create lots of these rules to combat different mail coming through.  It seemed to work for a while when I was getting a lot in early summer.

On a similar vein there is a program called ?mailwasger or something similar which filters stuff out at the server level but I think you need to log on to the internet provider to operate it.

I've tried sending stuff to my ISP (you need to include the source headers) but that I found didn't work much.

Currently I am being inundated with these banking type scams - 1 or 2 a day which is somewhat tiresome.

what u refer to is the mailwasher but you need your password to the internet todownload this
I use (and install on my clients machines) spamfighter from www.spamfighter.com. I've found it to be very effective.
