Not really sure how to explain this but here goes :
When i first turn on my pc and log on to my user (XP) i get to my desktop and and i get a solution centre thing come up saying cannot find and to insert disc and try again. I have no idea what it is for and just have to keep pressing cancel until it disappears but any ideas how i can stop it doing this or how to find out what it is looking for?
hi VHG, thanks for taking the time to respond.
it is definitely solutions and not security.
How can i find out what has not installed properly? is this possible?
thanks Rojash
Firstly a box comes up saying -
Solution Centre
The feature you are trying to use is on a CD Rom or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the solution centre disk and click ok.
As i do not have this disk i just exit or cancel and then another box comes up saying -
Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package "solutioncentre.msi"
I don't really understand what it is - i defintely do not have a disk for "solution centre"
Is it possible to stop these messages?
It tells me this before i have done anything - just as soon as i log on.
I have searched the internet for "solutioncentre.msi" and they all seem related to a HP printer (I guess that is what rojash did).
Try reinstalling any software that came with your HP printer, and if that does not work try downloading the latest version of the software from the HP support web site.
