hi, im hoping to purchasea netbook. i have two in mind;

1. Dell mini 10
2. samsung NC10

one main reason i want to purchase it for is to connect to my sony kdl 40v4000 lcd tv. i can connect directly from the teh dell mini 10 using HDMI cable, but i cant with the samsung. basically i like the design of the dell mini 10 and the battery life of the samsung(staggering 6 hours).

I really would buy the dell mini 10 if i could connect it to my tv using other means.

please help me here

thanks

Saw the samsung NC10 on the gadget show last night and I am defo getting one of theose, seems great!
that TV has a 15pin Dsub VGA connector (a standard PC monitor connector) so you can connect any laptop/netbook that has a standard VGA port on it which both the dell and samsung has got (in fact you would find it hard to find any laptop/netbook that has not got a VGA connector)

The downside of using the VGA over HDMI is you will also need to use a separate audio cable to get sound.
