micro hi fi system

i want to buy a small hi fi system but with a decent sound can anyone recommend one to me and how many watts should i be looking at? tia

But you won't go far wrong with either of these two systems:
Denon DM37DAB or the Onkyo CR525DAB.
You can buy with or without the bookshelf speakers.
If you would prefer to add your own speakers both the Tannoy F1 Custom or the Mordaunt Short 902i would be an ideal match for these systems.
Also remember to get a decent make of speaker cable to connect your speakers to the system.
Forget about the Watts issue, both systems are LOUD.
Check them both out at your nearest Hi-Fi dealer.
BTW - I have the Onkyo system and I find it very very good.
