i have recently purchased and ipod touch for my daughter and she has put some applications on it they were working fine yesterday but they will not open now what could be the problem?

'will not open now'... a little more detail? Do usual apps, like Safari, work?

Restart the iPod -- hold down the top 'sleep' button for several seconds, then swipe to turn off.

hiya yes safari works as i go onto the application the title screen comes on and then it goes back to the menu.

i meant safari works but others such as bejewelled blitz and downloaded apps are not working

Have you completely turned it off and not put it into sleep mode.

Hold the button at the top for 5 seconds until the slider to turn off comes and swipe that.

When it has completely closed down, turn it on again by holding the top button again.

Failing that, re-sync with iTunes on the computer.

I have re-sync with my computer but they are still not opening most annoying!!!

You need to restart it - not just turn it off.. See the Apple website for help.. its very good!

thanks im currently in the middle of restoring it see where that gets me thanks to all for thier comments technology eh who would have it lol!!!
