font size windows xp
3 Answers
Hi,
I have just formatted and reloaded windows xp. the font sizes are very large and I cannot se all the icons etc. on the initial pages. I have right clicked in open space and gone into properties, then appearance and it says "font size normal", I have the option to have large fonts or extra large fonts, but not to make them smaller. There is a message that comes up that says about auto adjust, but that does nothing. any ideas please?
thanks,
Alf.

it explains all.
it explains all.
You need to adjust the resolution.
As garfield says, you first need to ensure that you've installed the display driver.
Then go to the Settings tab of the display properties - NOT the appearance tab. If you have an LCD monitor, set the resolution to match that of the monitor, otherwise, just choose a resolution that suits you.
