I have an original astro lamp from about 1960 with copper top and base (top screws off the glasss). The fluid has broken down - can anyone advise me on possiblity of replacing it etc.

If it's a Mathmos lamp (the inventors) then they're still going and sell spares http://www.mathmos.com/erol.html
