Hi All,

My telephone socket had a filter connected to it with my phone and broadband (wireless router) connected to the filter. Then we had sky installed about a year later and the sky engineer connected an other filter / adopter to the existing set up.

No Problem......... everything worked and i just left it all alone. However my wife messed around with the whole set up because the phone would not work (problem was actually a power cutt). She says she unplugged eberything and cannot remember where it all went!!!!!!!!!!!

Now i cannot get it working again (i can get phone OR broadband but not both).

Please help, this is driving me mad!!!!

Is there a website that will show a schematic of what plugs in where?

Thanks in advance

ADSL filter plugs into the wall socket first then plug the ADSL router/modem into the ADSL socket on the filter and plug the thing SKY left into the phone socket on the filter, your phone and sky box then plug into that.

Did you follow that?
Phone 'Sky' tell them what happened and they will guide you through it. Don't muck about with it yourself.

It's very simple, no phone line can be ahead of the broadband and both have to go through a filter. Do what chuck said, sorted!
