I don't understand what you mean by went to first webpage, if you typed the address of your default gateway into the address bar of a browser it should take you to the login for the admin pages on your router....

hi chuck, the numbers 192.168.2.1 that u said were exactly righht after default gateway. so then i enter they numbers onto my msn homepage web address bar and this comes up

are you defiantly putting it in the address bar (where it says www.theanswerbank.... at the moment)

Type in a password /pass phrase of your choice and click save or apply (if you are currently connecting by wireless you will lose the connection)

chuck i done that and my internet connection has gone, well kinda, i had this page still open but it aint allowing me to get my homepage

are you connected wired or wirelessly at the moment?

If wired it should make no difference, if wireless you will need to disconnect the network and then reconnect and it will ask for the paswword you just entered

just refreshed it there and its working, went on the ipod touch and it asked me for my password to connect, Chuck your brilliant thank you ever so much xxx whoohoo
