Could anybody help me out there? I can't watch a video over the internet as they just stop and start and drive me to frustration. I have noticed however, I can watch it normally a second time round BUT not always. Then there are other videos (usually US television) where the image and voices are all broken up and even second time round it's the same. Please help!

almost certainly your internet connection is not fast enough to view the videos so they are not downloading quick enough to keep up with you viewing them.

Some sites (such as youtube) will download the video in full so the second time round it doesn't have to be downloaded again so you can watch it smoothly, other sites (especially live TV sites or places like BBC Iplayer) don't store the video after the first watch so even if you play it again it has to be downloaded all over from scratch.

All you can do is see if you can get a faster connection.
Or pause it at the beginning and wait a few minutes before pressing play.
that works on sites like youtube HC, not on places like BBC Iplayer though, if you pause that it stops buffering too

thanks for your answers; hc that doesn't work it must be the connection speed.
