Google Ccleaner .................. free download............. clean your system, clean the registry, unload programs you don't need, and be ruthless with your "startup" (not the Windows folder..... the one Ccleaner brings up for you) :o)
does this cost
i know its a free download it cleans your system, but it asks you to purchase to clean up your system and fix probs. why
Ccleaner is free.
Ccleaner is totally free, and it's good.
But you also need to check how many programs are in your start up list. Do you really need your printer, camera, mp3, satnav, office, msn and all the rest to load? You may not use them that session.

XP or Vista or what?
Download startup inspector from here.

i have just tried this the download is free, but the cleanup you pay for.
so whats the point if you have to pay for it, its not free is it, we want clean up for free, not just download it, and the n if we dont want to pay for clean up it doesnt do much for us
Download CCleaner from here. There is no cost involved, ever.

From the Ccleaner home page "CCleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool."

Yes on the site they do have an option to make payments to support the development, and yes there is a page with Paypal links to let you make a donation when you go to download it, but the program is freeware and fully functional with no payment needed.

If you have run something called Ccleaner which will not do the cleanup before you make a payment, you have the wrong program and I'd strongly suggest doing full anti-virus and anti-malware scans sooner rather than later.
