When I ask Word to print a document it always comes up with a message saying "the margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the page. Do you want to continue?" I just press Yes and it prints it so what is the point of this?

Is your page defaulted to the dreaded American letter size. We print on A4 paper which is a different size. If you do not have A4 as your default in the page set up, change it.
