trouble with password

I have received a password and when I copy and paste it a small icon appears underneath asking to translate. I ignore this but when I acutally copy and paste one star too many appears in the password column. This is very annoying. I cannot change my password either to another one until I log in with what has been sent to me. How can I get around this problem? By the way this is the only password I experience this with. No trouble with any others.

Why not just type it in manually?
