sat nav map udate is huge

3.45Gb to be precise. i eventually managed to successfully transfer the map to my garmin. do people tend to keep the file on the computer, in case of having to re-load the map to the device for any reason? or do they tend to just get rid of the file? its my first sat nav and santa bought it round, so its all new to me.

hi, if a more up to date map became available within 60 days of first use, i was entitled to a free update. there was one available so i took it. (now im wondering if i should have waited till day 59 or something! anyway thanks for the help regarding the file ;o)
