Can't block viagra e-mails
5 Answers
I'm using Outlook Express and have successfully blocked much of the spam coming my way by creating message rules. However, I've tried to do this by including 'viagra in the subject' as a rule for blocking, but I'm still getting hundreds of the dratted things. Obviously, I've never even opened any of these messages.

They use tricks such as using \ and / to make a letter V spelling it . You need put different combinations in the subject line and text body filter. Also look for other words commonly used in this spam and filter those out.
But it's an uphill battle once you get on a spammer's list. You may be better changing your email address

It's very 'hard' to get rid of them...thats the best one I've heard this year.
Here's a soft option...
Try loading... 'Mailwasher'...it's free, and easy to use...it runs along with Outlook...
It certainly makes dealing with large quantities of junk mail easier... I certainly dont think, it will be as hard as it was before....
