My screen has gone blank although Keypad is still lit up. Any way I can restore it without going to Service Centre. Any solutions please? Thank You for any replies.

I fixed mine by using aftermarket custom software which seems better than Motorola.
That is throw away or service. Unfortunately you will probably lose what is not on the SIM.

Most models are different. I just use the absolutely original V3 (all metal) and change the software.
Your problem is .. when you remove a V3 screen, you usually damage the printed flex cable (connections to everything) getting it apart/off, which means using new parts ... and it takes ages fiddling about. You "can" get a complete assembled screen/top assy (coloured) ready to fit (seller sometimes on ebay) This is a better bet (saves lots of swearing and losing tiny torx screws!) My tip, if you cannot do in-house, buy another one! : (
