When I'm sitting with the TV etc switched off I can hear my skybox making a noise as if it were starting up, a kind of whirring noise. I have nothing timed for it to do this and there are no lights on - is it updating ? Because it seems to do it a few times every day

If it's a sky+ box it's the hard drive you can hear

If it's a normal sky box (been waiting to use this one for ages.....) It's the fan :)
