Auto Prompt on PC

On my old laptop I would start keying in my (eg) e-mail address, and a drop-down would appear - showing the whole thing - and I could simply click on it. Similarly with oft-repeated stuff like my address. Is there a feature on XP that will allow me to kick this off again?

 Other systems may have a slightly different route:

Click START, CONTROL PANEL,INTERNET OPTIONS,CONTENT tab, and tick AUTO COMPLETE BOX. Hope this helps
