Picture on opening screen

Hi,
I'm a computer dumbo.

When I purchased my laptop, there was a picture on the screen when I turned it on, but somehow I managed to lose it. How do I go about choosing & instaaling another one?

click on Start/Settings/Control Panel/Display Properties/Desktop/Browse....find your pictures in My Documents (or where you store them), press Ok & your pic will show.

. . . or, right-click on your desktop and select 'Properties'. Click 'Desktop' and then 'Browse'. Navigate to an appropriate file and double-click on it. Then click 'Apply' and 'OK'.

. . . or, in Windows Picture Viewer, simply right-click on a picture of your choice and select 'Set as Desktop Background'.
