smasung D600 locked on answerphone

Hi, I have a generic Samsung D600 with Orange sim. Unfortunately I cannot receive calls as it goes straight to answerphone; the answerphone symbol is on at the top of the screen as if I have a message waiting (I don't).
I have been through all the settings, and am still at a loss as to how to turn it off. Can anyone help?

From previous experience, Orange are the only network that don't allow you to control the voicemail settings on PAYG sims (sorry I'm assuming it's a PAYG) If you want to make changes to the settings you will have to call 150/450 and ask Customer services to do the changes for you.

You should be able to go to menu----settings----network settings---call diverting---- cancel all
