I have just to-day recieved two re-conditioned ink cartridges, but to my dismay find my printer (Canon MP Pixma 220) won`t accept them, although they are indentical to the original , but a different type number, which I thought would be OK. Is there anything I can do to get my printer to accept them please? Will the suppliers in Jersey exchange them for the correct ones?

You were trying to replace the CL-38/PG-37 cartridge with what?

wildwood, I had sent to me a PIXMA IP6210/622D/6310, etc etc, 51. instead of MP220 41 Colour Cartridge.
I have had trouble in the past in getting compatible inks to work in my Epson printers. How much aggro you can put up with depends on you but with my new printer, still an Epson, I have decided to use only genuine cartridges. The best price I can find, through Amazon, is £23.33 for a multiple pack from 'modern ape'. Earlier in the week it was from 'cartridge king' for £23.59. This compares with £36.66 from Epson.
