I won !!
6 Answers
Don't know if anybody is interested, but I have recently won a battle with Currys over a faulty TV set I bought. Cutting a long tale short, I bought a 22" TV/DVD combi, which from the start was faulty. Returned it to the store where I was told " you don't what you are doing, there is nothing wrong with the set". Wrote to MD and spoke to consumer direct (brilliant people) was asked to take the set back and they would have it checked by their "Tech Guys". (This request took 6 weeks to materialise). Two more weeks later I received a call from MD's office to say the Tech Guys had written the set off as there were "innumerable faults". Got a letter from Tech Guys to take into the store to get a refund, so went in and "waved it under their noses" and got a full refund. Moral is, Nil Desperandum Carborundum - don't let the B+/*$"£s grind you down.
