downloading

Is Limewire still free for downloading music to CDs - as when I go onto site it is asking for my name, email etc. When I downloaded it some time ago I did not have to go through that process - it downloaded it for me right away. Thanks for any answers

I wouldn't say it was free I would say it was illegal and often full of virus's. Last time I used Limewire you had to pay for it and the service was shocking. I am still trying to find another website for downloading music that isn't the dreaded Itunes.

The FBI are shutting a lot of sites down at the moment. Every streaming site I have ever used has been shut down this last month =(

Maybe Limewire needs an update?

There is nothing wrong with Limewire ..
It's the content it makes available that is the problem.
