Is it possible to unlock a pay-as-you-go phone to a contract sim? Different networks.
Thanks for your help.

If you've had the 'phone for a year or more, you can 'phone up your provider (Orange, O2 or whoever) and tell them you want it unlocking. They will give you a PUK code (although sometimes you have to wait up to two weeks and it will usually cost around 20) and tell you how to input it.
If you haven't had it a year, then you can get it unlocked 'illegally' (and cheaper) at any of those independent/backstreet mobile 'phone shops in town. Go in, tell them you want it unlocked, and they'll probably charge you about 10 and, if it's a common 'phone, might even do it there and then.
Sometimes you can even find the PUK code by searching your 'phone's make and model (plus the word "PUK") on t'internet.
