Adobe Reader 9

Hi !!!

I installed adobe reader 9 and now cannot open PDF files. I looked at theanswerbank questions and saw that Foxit is much easier to use. So I downloaded it and tried to remove Adobe 9. However when clicking on the remove button I am faced with "This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists....................".

What does "pack package" refer to please, and how do I remove Adobe 9 if it`s not where its supposed to be? Help please?

Hi Benny888 - I downloaded new Adobe 9 and had same problem as you. I got in touch with BT my provider and he asked had I removed the old Adobe programme ,of course I did not know to do this. After removing the old one all is well. Good luck.
