HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy?

I am upgrading my phone from a Samsung Soul and have narrowed my options to HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy? Any comments/advice? Do you own one and do you like it?

Samsung Galaxy S purely because it looks amazing!!

Go for the HTC. Is this running android or windows mobile?

HTC build quality seems to be better (I've never known a samsung owner who has managed to keep the thing alive for more than a year).

As always I would suggest you look at the nokia n900 http://www.nokia.co.u...all-phones/nokia-n900 as well.

Thanks for your answers, I was thinking Android version. Good point about Samsung build - my Soul is currently being mended now as the speaker and screen have gone! :o)

Maybe even better is to wait for the brilliant (so I'm told) Nokia N8. supposed to knock spots off all the opposition! B.

i upgraded from the soul to the galaxy s and must say its amazing. its got the most powerful processor in it than any other phone on the market right now. Android is really user friendly as is the main samsung interface. it can do anything the i-phone can do and has thousands of free apps too. i was given the choice of the i-phone 4, the HTC and the galaxy, and i chose the galaxy. go into a store and try them all out and see what suits you.
