Hi,
Upgraded my phone to another Sony Ericsson (got an elm now) & want to use the same ring tone that had been blue toothed to my old K800i. Can I transfer that tone to my new phone ? I'm still using the same sim card so would it be on there (in which case how can I retrieve it ?) ? Or is it still on the original "phone" somehow (no memory cards involved) ?
Cheers

I would do what ELVIS said.

Elvis, not a bad idea BUT - I upgraded it so I could use the web while I'm holiday. I leave tomorrow ...
CW...can you connect the phone to the computer?
Send it via bluetooth, not Royal Mail

ummmm, maybe later, when I get home. How would that help ?
Elvis, oh, thought you had to be in close proximity ? Manual says
"A range of less than 10 metres (33 feet), with no solid objects in between, is recommended for Bluetooth communication."
What is the ringtone?
You can do it from the computer to the phone.

Errrr, not sure I wanna actually admit to what the tone is, Elvis ... ;o)

Just had a word at work, & apparently I can use any simcard in my old phone & be able to bluetooth it after all. Have got a very old O2 PAYG one in a Nokia - that should be ok, shouldn't it ? I'm now on a Vodaphone contract.
If you connect the phone to the computer you can convert any song from youtube into a ringtone by using the youtube converter
Question Author
Ahhh, that's useful to know Elvis, ta.
Do wanna try keep this one if I can, will look into youtube when I'm back from me hol. Cheers
