For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It depends on the file format. If they are .wmf files (windows metafile) or .emf (enhanced metafiles) then there will be no problem, likewise jpg or bmp files will be fine too.
You will probably have to insert them manually, rather than using the office clip art facility, this is because the way clip art works has changed in versions of Microsoft Office, e.g. in Office 2003, you only get basic clip art, and are directed to the website to search for more options.
