I'm guessing that you don't mean chemical applications here, but pop videos... so in basic CDVs have hit the market from companies who bond a CD on to a DVD on a single disc. This means that a single disc can play in your DVD and show you the movie - and in your car CD player where it can play the soundtrack. It takes thin discs, good glue, and a laser technology that can read very finely thorugh the rim of a CVD, but they are beginning to proliferate. Big record companies could put the pop videos (which are rarely seen except on MTV) on the back of an album.
