iPhone - to buy or not to buy?

Thinking of getting an iPhone. Currently with Virgin (Samsung Genio Touch phone) - about 13 months into an 18-month contract but I take it Virgin dont sell them?! Cant see them anywhere on the website? Any tips - who's the best provider? Dont want to touch Orange - had a VERY BAD experience with them with my Internet few years back. Am I better going to Apple shop/online or to a mobile phone shop? Help!!

Try a Sony Erricson Xperia X10, I got one, great phones, similar to I phone but without all the bugs!

I am on 02 with an iphone and I love it, I have tried the HTC desire but found that the power drained way too quickly and just to do anything was quite time consuming and cumbersome. However it is only personal opinion, I know people who love their HTCs, my advice is to try them out at a phone shop.

I like you have had negative opinions of orange, not to mention the signal quality where I lived made the phone almost useless, but that was not the worst part, the customer service was abysmal!! I have had similar problems with 3 although they are not as bad.

for now I am with o2 and things "seem" fine ;)
