How do get to record a movie i recorded on my Sky box on dvd using the Sony DVD player ?

Got baffled with the DVD manual. Any ideas ?

Go to HDMI 2. Start Sky Programme to be recorded. Start DVD Recording.

Yes,sorry,Forgot to mention set your DVD Recorder to L1 or L2 whichever you get the Sky Picture on.

Wouldn't i need to use a cable to do this ?
