set up wireless on my old computer

i have a spare laptop which is not connected up by wireless.
but can get online using an ethernet cable,connected to my bt hub.
however i cannot find my bt wireless disc anywhere,so besides ringing up bt,,,is there any other way i can connect my computer by wireless.

You don't need a disc.
You do need to tell us the make and model of laptop, and which OS (XP, OS X, etc) it's running.
