Try holding down the C key as you switch it on (with the CD in the drive) or change the boot order in the BIOS.

(p.s. no need to shout)

I think your caps lock is stuck on.

The kind suggestion to hold down c to get my recovery discs on the go worked, thanks chuckfickens.. However how do I get my wireless back working? the network adaptor does not seem to be there or is now not working. does it need to be re-enabled somehow ? if so how ?
Obvious first.

Have you knocked the switch (or possibly a key combo) that turns the wireless on/off?

If you've not done that then try downloading the drivers from the toshiba web site and installing them.
